More Dates For Sting With Strings Announced

Sting’s upcoming North American tour just keeps growing and growing. New on the schedule is Salt Lake City, Saint Paul, Dallas, and maybe even your town.

The tour, billed as “An Evening With Sting featuring The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra Conducted By Steven Mercurio,” begins June 2 in British Columbia at Vancouver’s Centre For The Performing Arts, and features symphonic arrangements of Sting’s solo catalog as well as tunes from his days with The Police.

New on the schedule is Salt Lake City at Usana Amphitheatre June 10; Saint Paul at Xcel Energy Center June 21; Maryland Heights, Mo., at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre St. Louis June 23; The Woodlands (Houston) at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion June 25; Dallas at the Superpages.com Center June 26; Uncasville, Conn., at the Mohegan Sun Arena July 6; Atlantic City at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa / Event Center July 9; Camden, N.J., at the Susquehanna Bank Center July 10 and Montreal at the Bell Centre July 24.

A fan club presale for the Montreal date goes up March 10 and general public sales begin March 15. Fan club presales for all other new dates mentioned above begin March 17, while general onsales for all new shows except the aforementioned Montreal date as well as the Atlantic City date begin March 22. Atlantic City’s public onsale begins March 20.

     He should tour with his old Amnesty buddy Peter Gabriel and they can play their orchestral shows on the same bill with the same orchestra and just pay the orchestra double.Heehaw..
